NACB Standards

Membership of The National Association of Catering Butchers scheme allows catering butchers to prove that the standards of food safety, hygiene and quality meet nationally agreed levels of best practice, and gives an assurance to the consumer that products they sell are safe and legal.

NACB certified catering butchers must have taken every step to ensure the legality, safety and quality of the meat and meat products that they supply to their customers.

The NACB Standard aims to avoid duplication and the imposition of unnecessary costs to deliver an assurance scheme that is cost-effective, credible and worthy of recognition by your customers. It is the only standard tailored specifically to the unique demands of the catering butchery sector.
